A case of neurilemmoma of the duodenum was encountered recently at Department of General
Surgery, St. Mary¢¥s Hospital of Catholic medical college.
The patient had been suffered from intermittent melena, indigestion, loss of appetite, fainting,
and geadache for two years. He was evaluated with various studies.
Under impression of tumor with central ulceration at the second flexure of the duodenum, the
explloratory laparotomy was performed and disclosed a benign neoplastic mass at the second flexure
of duodenum and it was confirmed to be a neurilemmomaof duodenum, which was very rare in
the world literatures. No duodenal neurilemmoma has been reported yet in domestic literature.
